How to delete your My Content Lab account and any data we hold on your behalf.
What this page is for
My Content Lab is operated by AMW Media LTD. This page explains your two options for deleting your account, what is deleted, what we are required to keep, and how to additionally revoke each connected platform’s access from your end.
Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (fastest)
Log in to mycontentlab.co.uk.
Go to Settings → Account.
Click Delete account and confirm.
Your account and all associated organisation data will be deleted immediately and cannot be recovered.
Option 2 — Email request
Send an email from the address registered to your account to legal@mycontentlab.co.uk with the subject line “Data deletion request”.
We will:
Acknowledge your request within 72 hours;
Complete the deletion within 30 days;
Send you a confirmation reference number once the deletion is complete (you may keep this as proof for Meta or any other platform).
What gets deleted
Your user profile, name, email and password hash;
Your organisation, clients, branding and white-label settings;
All OAuth access and refresh tokens for Meta, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Google (GA4, Search Console, Ads, Business Profile, YouTube), LinkedIn, Pinterest and TikTok;
All synced marketing analytics, generated reports, AI insights and content-lab outputs;
Uploaded files and avatars in object storage;
Encrypted off-site backups within 30 days of deletion.
What we are legally required to keep
Billing and tax records, for 7 years, as required by HMRC;
A minimal audit log of the deletion event itself (timestamp + reference number).
Revoking platform permissions directly
Deleting your My Content Lab account also revokes our tokens at our end. For full assurance, you can additionally remove our app from each platform’s permissions screen:
