How to delete your My Content Lab account and any data we hold on your behalf, on the web or in the iOS and Android apps.

What this page is for

My Content Lab is operated by AMW Media LTD. This page applies to the website, the web app and the MYCONTENTLAB apps for iOS and Android. It explains your options for deleting your account, what is deleted, what we are required to keep, and how to additionally revoke each connected platform’s access from your end.

Cancel any App Store or Google Play subscription first. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription you bought in the iOS or Android app. Cancel it in your Apple subscriptions (Settings → your name → Subscriptions) or your Google Play subscriptions (Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions). If you pay on our website, cancel your plan in Billing in the web app.

Option 1 — Delete in the mobile app (fastest)

  1. Open the MYCONTENTLAB app on your iPhone, iPad or Android device and sign in.
  2. Go to the Account tab, then Help and privacy.
  3. Tap Delete account (if you own the workspace, this is Delete workspace and account) and confirm.

Option 2 — Delete on the web

  1. Log in to app.mycontentlab.ai.
  2. Go to Settings → Account.
  3. Click Delete my account and confirm.

With either option, your account and all associated organisation data will be deleted immediately and cannot be recovered. If you own the workspace, its clients and data are deleted too. To keep a copy, use Download my data under Settings → Account in the web app first.

Option 3 — Email request

Send an email from the address registered to your account to legal@mycontentlab.co.uk with the subject line “Data deletion request”.

We will:

  • Acknowledge your request within 72 hours;
  • Complete the deletion within 30 days;
  • Send you a confirmation reference number once the deletion is complete (you may keep this as proof for Meta or any other platform).

What gets deleted

  • Your user profile, name, email and password hash;
  • Your organisation, clients, branding and white-label settings;
  • All OAuth access and refresh tokens for Meta, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Google (GA4, Search Console, Ads, Business Profile, YouTube), LinkedIn, Pinterest and TikTok;
  • All synced marketing analytics, generated reports, AI insights and content-lab outputs;
  • Uploaded files and avatars in object storage;
  • Encrypted off-site backups within 30 days of deletion.

Data on your device

The mobile apps keep saved drafts, data assistant history and personal reminders on your device. They are removed when you sign out, and uninstalling the app removes them as well.

What we are legally required to keep

  • Billing and tax records, for 7 years, as required by HMRC;
  • A minimal audit log of the deletion event itself (timestamp + reference number).

Revoking platform permissions directly

Deleting your My Content Lab account also revokes our tokens at our end. For full assurance, you can additionally remove our app from each platform’s permissions screen:

Stop using Apple or Google sign-in

If you signed in with Apple, you can also stop using Apple sign-in for MYCONTENTLAB: on your iPhone or iPad, open Settings → your name → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple, choose MyContentLab and stop using it. Apple’s instructions.

If you signed in with Google, remove MYCONTENTLAB from your Google Account’s third-party connections.
