READ-ONLY BY DESIGN
Your assistant can read. It cannot change anything.
MCP gives your assistant a view of your connected workspace data, so it can help you analyse and plan in the conversation.
- The assistant retrieves data and helps you interpret it.
- An MCP connection cannot create, edit or delete anything in MYCONTENTLAB.
- With access tokens you choose the scope and the expiry date.
- You can revoke access at any time.
Questions about MCP
What your assistant can see, what it cannot do and how to connect it.
MCP lets an AI assistant read data from your connected MYCONTENTLAB workspace. You ask questions in the assistant’s chat, and it answers using your client results, reports, mentions, trends, pipeline and Content Lab ideas.
Setup is documented step by step for Claude. Other MCP-compatible assistants such as Cursor, Windsurf, Antigravity, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot in VS Code and Mistral Le Chat can be connected as well - check the setup guide for the current instructions.
Your client list, monthly performance from connected platforms, existing report summaries and recommended actions, brand mentions with sentiment, trends, CRM pipeline figures and the ideas, hooks and angles saved in Content Lab.
No. Access is read-only: the assistant can retrieve data and help you analyse it or develop ideas in the conversation, but it cannot create, edit or delete anything in your workspace.
The AI features inside MYCONTENTLAB work in the platform itself. MCP brings your workspace data to the assistant you already use, so you can ask your own questions and combine it with the rest of your conversation.
Not with the recommended Claude setup, which uses OAuth. For other setups you can create a personal access token, choose its scope and expiry date, and revoke it at any time.
Availability depends on your workspace role and plan. See the setup guide or contact us to confirm what is included in yours.
Your assistant fetches your connected workspace data when you ask. Some data, such as monthly metrics and saved report summaries, is updated on its own schedule, so answers are as current as that data in your workspace.
