Google Analytics 4 (GA4) integration guide
Connect Google Analytics 4 (GA4) properties to MyContentLab to monitor website traffic, user engagement sessions, landing page conversions, and multi-channel attribution.
Overview and key benefits
Google Analytics 4 is the standard for event-driven web and app analytics. Integrating GA4 allows you to:
- Correlate social traffic with web visits: Measure how organic and paid social campaigns drive website visits and on-site conversions.
- Track high-converting landing pages: Identify which content and blogs generate the highest engaged sessions.
- Monitor user acquisition channels: Review traffic split across Organic Search, Paid Search, Direct, Organic Social, Paid Social, and Referrals.
Prerequisites
- An active MyContentLab client workspace.
- A Google Account with Administrator, Editor, or Viewer permissions on the target GA4 Property ID.
What data gets synchronized
