Threads is Meta's text-focused conversational microblogging network. Integrating Threads allows you to:

• Track text-first velocity: Ingest post impressions, likes, replies, and repost counts.
• Monitor conversational engagement: Track audience discussions and quote threads.
• Cross-platform microblogging: Compare Threads performance side-by-side with X (Twitter) and LinkedIn.

Prerequisites

1. An active MyContentLab client workspace.
2. A Threads profile linked to a verified Instagram Business account.

What data gets synchronized

Synchronization runs automatically every 2 to 4 hours:

• Views and reach: Total post views and impressions.
• Interactions: Likes, replies, reposts, and quote posts.
• Followers: Net follower trajectory.

Step-by-step connection walkthrough

1. In the client workspace, open Connections.
2. Click Connect on the Threads card.
3. Authenticate with the Meta or Instagram account linked to the Threads profile.
4. Grant the requested read permissions (threads_basic, threads_read_replies).
5. Click Authorize.
